CCA has tried for years to encourage the County to use an open and objective process for selecting the projects that would best attract tourists and increase the use of lodging and other facilities to help grow the tourism economy. CCA has asked several times to sit down with the County to have a discussion of a better way to help Currituck’s economy. But with each additional request for discussion it seems that the county shuts down another line of communication. The Public Record disclosures support CCA’s concerns so they have no other option than to ask a judge to decide.
